Read Text Messages Online with AT&T, Is It Possible?

November 2, 2012 by Vicky 1 Comment

Are you one of those wishing they could read text messages online with AT&T? Maybe you want to access your own texts online or maybe someone else`s? Has your child or employee been behaving in a suspicious manner and you desperately need to know their texts conversations?

Some phone service providers have been rumored to offer this service, AT&T included. At this point, most of the providers don’t support this program and AT&T is not an exception. However, there is a way to read text messages online, though in a different way which does not involve service providers.

Why Can’t We Read Text Messages Online with AT&T?

One may think that technologically, it is very easy to check messages online. However, AT&T has not been able to do this. There are various reasons that prevent many service providers not to provide this service. One of the major reasons involves prevention by the communication laws and regulations.

Privacy laws try to give all phone users confidentiality in their conversations. Therefore, it’s a crime for a service provider like AT&T to store messages in their servers as there is a risk of breaking the privacy laws. You may feel offended if you knew somebody is able to read your text messages somewhere and this is what service providers avoid.

Though privacy laws have played a bigger role in preventing this service from being offered, AT&T puts another major factor into consideration. It’s very costly and expensive to maintain the high number of servers required to offer this service. Storing each and every message that is sent in these servers needs a lot of storage space. Bearing in mind, storing these messages have no economical value to the service provider, they are better off scraped instead of increasing the operating costs.

How Then Can You Read Texts Online?

Don’t be frustrated if you can’t check texts online if AT&T is your service provider. There is a working alternative and it involves using a monitoring software. Though the application is known for tracking and monitoring other people’s messages, it can also be used to access your own texts online by copying them to a remote server.

Any messages you have sent or received can be retrieved by the help of this software as long as you have registered with the official website or providers. If you log in to your assigned account, you can be able to access these messages via your computer. In addition, this software when installed on your targets’ phone can be used to monitor all the text messages conversations.

AT&T through their regulations may not be able to offer clients this much needed service but with advancements in technology may be they will reconsider offering it in later days. However, as you wait you can try applications like the ones we mention here to keep you going.

Though you cannot read text messages online with AT&T, Mobile Spy can be of great help as it’s compatible with almost all the service providers and smartphones.
