2012 US election is getting closer and both sides of the campaign are ramping it up for the last weeks. Pew Research, is keeping an eye on how voters are using their phones to interact and keep up to date with the election campaign . The candidates themselves use text marketing to reach out to voters.
Social networking like Twitter are also widly used. The first TV debate between Mitt Romney and President Obama had over 10 million tweets wich is a record for a US political event. The second debate got 7.2 million tweets and the third and last presidential debate got 6.5 million tweets all numbers according to Twitter. That is a total of 23.7 million tweets…
